The film is so much thicker than any other film I have used, and the texture of it is unbelievably nice. However, I was blown away with just how nice this protector was. Now, I have not tried every single one of the tens of thousands of matte screen protectors out there, especially because I like to stay on the cheaper side of things. I used to think that every matte screen protector was the same boy, was I wrong! This brand produces by far the best protector I have ever used.

I always had a matte protector on my Tab S3, and with my recent upgrade to the Tab S6 I really wanted to keep using one since I write notes for college on the screen. This matte screen protector changed the way I used my tablet in the best of ways. If those causes are the case then the only real downside to this protector is of course the grainy screen quality decrease which again you may or not get use to but still very nice. Just randomly decided to try using the fingerprint scanner again this day and it went through without a problem. Works like a charm now and have no idea why. Maybe the protector needed to be broken in or something once installed or maybe recent system updates fixed problems with fingerprints but the protector no longer seems to stop me from using fingerprints now which is very weird. In regards to the fingerprint not working it randomly appears to now be working after the protector in no way would allow me to register prints before without a error. Maybe a better one will come along but until then this one is definitely the best matte finish one i have found that isn't tampered glass and good for drawing/sketching.Īnother thing to note is that you will hear some audible scratching etc just like you would from rough paper which i very much like but might bother some.
So yeah there are some obvious downsides but i still love this protector for it's feel and finish etc despite the minor image clarity decrease with the grainy look and the inability to use the fingerprint scanner. The other downside is that it severly interferes with the figureprint scanner so good luck getting it to work because i sure as hell couldn't and simply settled for the other device unlock methods. However it's not perfect as it will in fact lower your screen clarity a little and leave a grainy look to the screen which may annoy or bother some but i have gotten use to it fairly quick and it's not to terribly noticable at all so it will vary based on the person. The anti glare is on point and is very much easy to clean off which is something i always hated about glass protectors that claim to be anti fingerprint which is a clear lie when they still collect all kinds of filth and prints with ease. It just feels so unbelievably nice to touch and makes drawing with the s pen that much nicer and more pleasant.

Im not a fan of glass protectors and needed a actual matte paperlike surface since i use my tablet mainly for full drawing and design etc and the texture is absolutely phenomenal. This has to be one of the best ones i have found that isn't the same old cheaply made tampered glass protectors that are either fake or simply suck.
